ABOUT ME
I am an agronomist and assistant professor at the head the the Soil and Agri-environment Lab at Laval University. My research aims at improving our understanding of soils functioning and therefore help supporting a transition towards a more resilient and sustainable agri-food system to ensure food security for future generations. I believe this will require a close collaboration between the academic sector, the industry, the government, non-profit organizations and the general public. That is why I am passionate about research, teaching and involved in many extension activities to help bringing general awareness about the importance of soil conservation for economic, environmental and health purposes. To me, nothing has more importance, because, in the words of Dr. Swaminathan, agronomist and recipient of the first Nobel Food Prize '' If agriculture goes wrong, nothing else will have a chance to go wright''...and I am determined to help making sure agriculture goes wright.
